Fresh from winning silver at the 2026 Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games, Park posed for a commemorative photo with Dr. Sang-beom Kim and left us a heartfelt handwritten autograph as well.
Today we would like to share the news of Park Hye-jeong's visit with local residents looking for an orthopedic clinic in Deokyang-gu.
National team weightlifter Park Hye-jeong paid a visit to Goyang Team Doctor Orthopedic Clinic in person.
In the photo, the two stand side by side, smiling brightly and flashing peace signs.
Even with a busy schedule right after a major competition, she came by in high spirits, and it made for a special day at the clinic.
Park Hye-jeong won silver in the women's over-86kg category at the 2026 Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games, lifting 133kg in the snatch and 167kg in the clean and jerk for a 300kg total.
She set new Korean records in the snatch and the total, and following Hangzhou, she has now stood on the podium at two consecutive Games.
During her visit, she also left a handwritten autograph with the message “To. Goyang Team Doctor Orthopedic Clinic.”
Weightlifting is a sport in which, in a split second, the athlete channels the strength of the entire body to lift the barbell.
Because the lower back, knees, shoulders, and wrists all have to hold up together within a single movement, posture and balance matter more than anything.
